Sophomore courses

Course Description
CareerGuidance I In order to successfully carry out basic studies at university, we introduce a variety of reasonable study methods, discuss professional goals and study objectives with the supervising professor, and explore the prospective direction of the subject.
Basic Design While studying the fundamentals of design, we teach and instruct basic modeling practice, graphic design and three-dimensional design by improving the understanding of basic design theory and practice.
Study of Webcomic Character Techniques Research on the basic theory and practice of webcomics through theoretical and practical subjects, and describe the basic practice with a specific theme in mind, systematically study the characteris- tics and forms of the theme and provide structural guidance.
2D Graphic Visualization Practice We use 2D computer graphics programs (illustrations) to familiarize with the basic usage, to realize the application of the theme, to enhance the understanding of design integration by looking at it from multiple perspectives, and to acquire the basic ability to use computers in various fields.
Visual Merchandising Research We research the concept of visual merchandising, explore areas of interest to students in this area, and plan a visual merchandising project in consultation with the supervising professor to come up with an individual research project.
Methodology of Industrial Design Integration Research on the theoretical direction leading to the convergence ofthe fourth industrial revolution. Research ability to solve compound problems by connecting with the technological and intelligent nature of future industrial society and combining with various disciplines such as visual, product, environmental, and fine arts.
Career Guidance II Improve self-confidence in the subject, grasp the problematic points of experimental practice, observe the diverse professional directions ofthe subject, and explore the employment directions of the subject.
Brand Production Strategy Observe the design and development process of goods, study the characteristics and form embodi- ment of brand objects, and know the relationship and content of the design and production process.
Environmental Sketching Application Observe the structures and forms required for human life related to the public environment and learn the basic business process through the basic drawing study of sketching practice.
2D Digital Program In order to design performance, learn to use digital tools to realize ideas and performance processes, and develop the ability to produce graphic drawings.
Universal Design The study of safety, suitability, and convenience required by human beings in everyday society, and the study of design methods for people to conduct basic communication in their environment.
Creative Art Business Studies Planning more active and creative activities, expressing specific practices of art education, and delv- ing into the ability to depict graphic work concretely.
Design History Understand historical trends in design, develop awareness of specific problems brought about by historical changes, and recognize present and future design directions.

UX,UI Design Explore creativity using a user-centered design thinking approach to study user experience, design solutions, and decision-making methods to improve students' ability to solve design problems.
Sketching Application Familiar with the overall sketching skills related to graphic design, web comics, fine art, and environ- mental design, and learn the sketching methods, material selection, and diverse expressions required for the business in order to adapt to the skills required for future business.

3D Computer Business Study I Students learn the diversity of design expressions, study the design procedures of three-dimension- al graphics, and use them as a basis for developing their ability to solve three-dimensional graphics problems.
Basic Business Web Design Learn the theory and business of the basic work required for web design, study the methods of designing website production and operation, and develop the computer application skills required for the fourth industrial revolution.

3D Computer Business Research II Acquire more in-depth expertise based on the 3D Computer Business Studies I course, research more effective 3D graphics programs, and use this as a basis to develop the ability to solve three-dimen- sional design problems.
Business Web Design Deepen professional production skills and problem-solving abilities, learn the theory of effective work required for web design, study methods of website design, production and operation, and develop the computer application skills required for the fourth industrial revolution.
Web Comic Design and Production As a deepening process related to webcomics, we study the theories and practices required for webcom- ic production, work with supervising professors on effective working theories, analyze the characteris- tics and forms of specific themes, and conduct specialized and systematic research on an ongoing basis.
Art Production Project Practical application of materials and production methods required for art work, understanding the nature of the maker's work in the direction required by the subject from an artistic perspective, and developing students' expressive skills.
Public Design Project Understand the concept of socially desirable public facilities, set public themes, and focus on processes that meet the design objectives within the integrated themes.

Fourth year courses

Course Description
Career Guidance V Improve self-confidence in the discipline, master the problematic points of laboratory practice, observe the multiple professional directions of the discipline, and explore the prospects of the discipline.
Public Design Project I Present a project process with related themes and concepts through display design. For one theme, work on spatial structure through multiple methods, resulting in a substantial increase in the student's creative ability.
Creative Artwork Research I Understand the entire creative art activity and maximize personal work through the design theme. Develop students' direct communication skills through hands-on practice with social activities of interest.
Industrial Design Works Research I We will show the overall process of planning, design, expression, and publication of products that society demands, starting with research. Students will set their own personal theme and study the procedures and methodologies that fit the theme, and finally reflect a comprehensive approach to the expression of business work through their design work.
Web Comic Design Project I Planning of the overall activities of the webcomic and comprehensive study of production, perfor- mance and flow. Substantial and dense expression based on a specific theme related to manga animation.
Career Guidance VI To improve self-confidence in the discipline, to master the problematic points of experimental prac- tice, to observe the multiple professional directions of the discipline, and to explore the prospects of the discipline.
Industrial Design Works Research II Set individual themes for graduation works and carry out overall planning of product design required by industry and society. Students are required to show the process of research design, performance, and publication. The research should reflect the process and methodology in line with the theme, and the work needs to reflect the comprehensive expression method of business work.
Public Design Project II Set individual themes for students' graduation work, and the project process is carried out by displaying designs that express themes and concepts related to this. For one theme, work on spatial structure through multiple methods, allowing students to substantially improve their creative skills.
Creative Art Works Research II Set personal themes for students' graduation work, presenting an understanding of the whole creative art activity. Maximize personal work and practice on social activities of interest by designing themes that develop the student's ability to communicate directly.
Web Comic Design Project II Set individual themes for students' graduation works and show the planning process of overall web- comic activities. Students go through a comprehensive study of production, performance, and process to substantively and densely express a specific theme related to manga animation.
